Instructor Certification with Romana's Pilates

Prerequisites

Seventy five hours of private instruction is the minimum requirement to be accepted into the program. The actual number of hours needed to prepare varies with the individual.  Receive your initial training with a Certified Pilates Instructor, here in Anderson, SC or with any Instructor Certified by Romana's Pilates.

You must be proficient is all second column work, in mat, the reformer, and all related apparatus. Must know set up, repetitions, safeties and goals of the exercises. You will be assessed to get into the program.

The Program
 

You will attend three seminars with Romana's Pilates. The locations vary. Atlanta or New York are often available as well as other locations in the US and abroad. You must get Apprenticeship hours between each seminar. These hours can be accrued here in our fully equipped Studio in Anderson, SC. Edgar is an Instructor Trainer with Romana’s Pilates. The training is excellent and includes; observation of Instructors working with a diverse client base, time to work and study on your own and with other apprentices, Apprentice Meetings, Mat Classes, Private Sessions and after 500 hours you will begin working with clients.

How long does it take?

The three seminars, 750 Apprenticeship hours and testing will take approximately eight to twelve months. Tests are given after 250 hours, 500 hours and the final test at 750 hours. Written tests are also given after the 500 and 750 hours. Apprenticeship hours accrue after successful completion of each phase.
 

What does it cost?

Seminars and tests are approximately $4800 depending on locations of seminars.
